Subnautica: Below Zero - Architect Shield Generator

Concept design for an "Architect" alien shield generator base, that was in an early version of the story. My idea was to have an epic moment where the machine would rise from a pit, expand open, and release all these small floating modules that form an energy shield in the sky over the planet. In the final version of the story the shield base was changed into something different, but aspects from this initial concept remained.
